#WOW! It was a great evening for us last night at Tabono HQ! We were chosen as one of this week’s #WOW award winners, chosen by Jacqueline Gold CBE!
Jacqueline is the CEO of Ann Summers and Knickerbox. But aside from being an incredibly inspiring business woman, she also champions other women through her WOW campaign. Her achievements were such that in 2015, she was awarded a CBE for services to Entrepreneurship, Women in Business and Social Enterprise.
Speaking about the #WOW competition on her website:

It is such an honour to have been chosen by Jacqueline out of so many incredible women-owned businesses. Especially as this was our very first time of entering!
We know from experience how hard it is to be a woman in business. Before coming together to create We Are Tabono, we both built our own separate ventures. In addition, having three children and three step-children between us, we understand how difficult it is to juggle motherhood and business.
The Tabono symbol represents strength, hard work, purpose and confidence. This is something we try to embody in both our professional personal lives. Now, it’s our mission is to bring the Tabono philosophy to as many entrepreneurs as we can!
It doesn’t matter if you have an existing business, or are just starting out. Our Programme is an investment in yourself, in your potential, and in your dream business coming to life.
