We’ve said many times on this blog, that some of our favourite things to do at We Are Tabono are to bring people together, and to make a difference to them and to their businesses. To us, that’s when the small business magic happens.
This picture was taken at yesterday’s co-working event in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and shows just how much buzz there was in the room! It was wonderful to see such a broad range of business owners in attendance, ranging from craft-based enterprises to retailers, stylists and therapists. All were working together, to support each other and grow their businesses.
Making the magic happen
So what was it that was creating the buzz? What was making the small business magic actually happen? Well – everything that was taking place was geared towards growth. Examples included:
- an impromptu lesson on social media insights
- brainstorming a potential change of strategic direction
- support with setting up a new Facebook page
As well as lots of discussion, idea-swapping and of course sharing of news and celebrating of wins! And of course the ‘work’ side of co-working in between.
People Power
But this magic doesn’t happen through our own creation. Chloe and I are facilitators, yes. And the small business magic comes out of the environment we’ve created. But we don’t direct it; dictate it or control it.
The magic itself is created by our community of passionate, driven, supportive business people. They all want to develop and grow their own businesses, of course. But they also want to help and support each other. To share their knowledge with each other. Celebrating each other’s successes and picking each other up when the situation requires.
To us, that’s small business magic. It just shows that small business is a #TeamBusiness.
