About Us

What is Tabono?

The word ‘Tabono’ means ‘oar’ or ‘paddle’ in the Adinkra language of West Africa, while the Tabono symbol itself represents unity of purpose, strength, confidence and hard work. We know that you need all of these things to be a successful entrepreneur, and Tabono exists to support you to achieve them. To help you to be Tabono.

Tabono was created for all women in business, regardless of your experience, background, or the age and nature of your business.

The fact that every woman is different lies at the heart of how we work with clients, and as such Tabono is designed to be a safe space for you to be your authentic self. A place to ask questions and learn; gain the confidence you need to challenge yourself and believe in your dreams; and be held accountable as you work towards making them a reality.

So if you want to be Tabono – get in touch. We’d love to meet you and find out more about your business dream!

Anna Verghese

Founder

I'm Anna and I'm so glad you found Tabono! If you're reading this, most likely you're ready to create a business that you can fall in love with - and one that creates balance in your life, meaning that it works for you, not the other way around.

And you know what? That's exactly what I did when I created Tabono.

I love how my business allows me to make a real difference to other women, but I also love how it allows me to be there for my daughter - and hopefully inspire her too as an aspiring entrepreneur in her own right.

And my other loves?

Languages (I've spent time living in France and Russia), experiencing different cultures, food (cooking and eating it), ballet (watching not dancing) travel, reading (mostly thrillers) and drawing (portraits from photos, not landscapes).

I hope you enjoy looking around this website, and if you'd like to, get in touch. It would be great to find out more about you and your business.
