Month 6 – Social Media & Technology
We live in a digital world, and the abundance of social media and technology can often be overwhelming, especially when you are running your own business. It can often be a real challenge to find out what do you need to do and how to do it; where you can find tools (and people!) to help, and how you can stay on top of what seem to be both constant and complex algorithm changes. Most of us use social media in a personal capacity on some level now, but when you use it for business, you need a whole new level of knowledge and time.
The Social Media and Technology module will be broken down into four broad sections – social media, images, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and other tools and techniques – and we will show you how each element fits together, as well as providing you with helpful tools and techniques to help you understand where to focus your time, and also how to use technology to maximise the potential of the time you have.
We will also end the module by developing a road map to allow you to take the technologies available to you forward for the benefit of both yourself and your business.
By the end of Module 6 you will have:
- Identified how to make social media work best for your business and have a fantastic “How To Toolkit” to kick things off.
- Learnt about how to use images correctly and really make a visual impact on your audience through your digital channels.
- Discovered just how much SEO can help you be discovered by those ideal clients who just need to know you’re there!
- Practical tools and advice to help you fit this technical element into your working day.
